If you are looking for a unique and unforgettable experience, our Fly Away Ballooning break is the perfect way to make the most of a stay in Bath.

Please note that Fly Away Ballooning flights take place on a Wednesday PM, a Friday AM and PM and a Saturday AM. The total experience time is three to four hours including a briefing, transfers, and a 45-90-minute flight.

Terms and conditions

This offer is subject to availability and based on two guests sharing a Classic bedroom for a minimum of two-nights.  Supplements will be added to upgrade to a Superior or Feature bedroom. The offer includes breakfast on each morning and a balloon flight for two on either a Wednesday, Friday or Saturday. Offer is available for stays until 30th September 2023.  You can only book this offer by calling reservations on 01225 424105 and the balloon flight will be organised at the same time.  Balloon flights are subject to weather conditions and some flights may be cancelled at very late notice.  In the event that your balloon flight is cancelled, if you have yet to arrive, then you will be offered a full refund on the whole of your stay, a refund on the balloon element only, or a transfer to another date.  If you have arrived and your flight is cancelled, the cost of your balloon flight will be refunded back to you, and you will have the option to cancel your second night’s accommodation and get a full refund for the second night only.

What days are the balloon flights available?

The flights take place on a Wednesday PM, a Friday AM and PM and a Saturday AM. All weather dependant.

This is a shared balloon experience and there will be eight people in the balloon.

Morning flights could be as early as 5:00am – 8:30am and evening flights leave between 4:00pm – 6:30pm.

The meeting point for the balloon flight is Royal Victoria Park, just a 10-minute walk from the hotel. They usually meet on the grass at the top of the park just through the entrance from Western Road opposite the golf club.

How do I get back to the hotel after the flight?

Transport will be arranged for guests from the landing point back to Royal Victoria Park and then it is just a 10-minute stroll back to the hotel.
