The festival includes music, literature, and food events that take place throughout the city of Bath and takes place annual in May, offering something for everyone. It is certainly an event not to be missed.

You will find events taking place in various venues throughout Bath, including historic buildings, and outdoor spaces, open-air concerts at the Royal Victoria Park and Parade Gardens. The Francis Hotel is also delighted to be hosting a number of events throughout the festival.

Not to be missed is the Party in the City party which officially launches the festival on Friday 12th May. Watch Bath come alive as this free event sees dozens of bands, choirs and sole performers playing live music throughout the city. It is a great way to kick off the Bath Festivals and to experience the city’s vibrant cultural scene.

There is something for all ages at Bath Festivals including a special family-friendly program with a host of activities including a Family Arts Day with free arts and crafts activities, puppet shows, and interactive workshops.

One of the highlights of the festival for children is the Bath Children’s Literature Festival, featuring events and activities for children of all ages, including book readings, storytelling sessions, and workshops by popular children’s authors and illustrators.
