The Athenaeum Hotel & Residences is delighted to announce the appointment of its new General Manager, Edward Bracken marking a new era for the award-winning hotel.

With over 20 years of hospitality experience, Edward brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of delivering guest-centric results. His vision is to further enhance the hotel’s reputation by fostering an empowered team and offering exceptional, personalised guest experiences.

Originally from Limerick, Edward studied at the Shannon College of Hotel Management and has since built an impressive career across a number of renowned London Hotels including The Dixon, Tower Bridge, Lost Property St. Paul’s London, Marriott Kensington The Gore; and the five-star Pelham Hotel.

In addition, Edward remains closely connected to his Irish roots, serving as a trustee and director of The London Irish Centre.

Commenting on his appointment, Edward said, “I’m truly excited to be joining The Athenaeum Hotel and Residences.  This is a hotel with deep character and history, and I look forward to working closely with the team to enhance the guest journey and create new stories for this celebrated Mayfair hotel”.
